McFonz's Sci Fi Resistance force with RV!
« on: May 07, 2013, 09:30:25 PM »
First off, apologies for shoddy photo's!

This is the commander. A conversion of Hasslefree Harby and one of the heads from their bits range. I had been looking hard for a suitable miniature and then remembered I had Harby and wanted to use him. In the background is a WIP salvaged RV.

The RV is to act as a mobile command centre for the resistance fighters. I am going to work on a separate piece that can sit alongside the RV to make it appear that it is stationary, with a table and radio etc underneath a cammo netted position.

A dashing lady who will act as a sgt. To help differentiate between troops and characters I have gone with lipped bases for the characters and normal bases for the troops.

The lastest two fire teams I have painted since Salute which is when I picked up the models.

Two rocket support teams.

I will try to take some better photos of the rest as well as finish a sniper team to be photo'd! :)

Very nice minis and paint jobs.  Still think that winnie is too small but you didn't sculpt it. ;)

Very nice! Erm, resistance-ful, I mean.

Always liked the Copplestone figs but that Harby conversion is keen.

The winnie is definitely a bit small, but I think it works.  The picture may be skewed too.  It looks like a great sculpt though.

It's interesting because the folk who've bought the RV love them and no suggestion of being too small. The master's by Crouchie who tends to build to scale...

Nice figures, personally I think the RV is okay size wise. Bearing in mind that in reality some RV's are quite modest whilst others are simply massive.
