*Guilty of thread-necromancy*

Sorry, but I could't help it but to compliment you JollyBob, on this wonderful work. :-*
I stumbled upon this topic while searching for Hellboy and/or BPRD related topics, and was just blown away by these excellent conversions. Very inspirational!  :)

Cheers.

I, for  one, am so glad you are guilty!
I would never have seen these if you hadn't passed comment.
THAT would have been a far greater crime!!!

JollyBob;
You are a GENIUS! :o :o :o
Love all the conversions, paintjobs, everything....

Thanks for your efforts.

Um, thanks guys, really quite embarrassed now.

@ Donpimpom, unfortunately I don't play (lack of opponents) so they will not be used in anger any time soon. I just like to do things to see if I can, mainly. I have had some ideas for bad guys, Nuala and Nuada from the second film especially, but haven't got round to it as yet.

You really should try playing solo with 2 Hour Wargames rules. Not quite as much fun as playing against other people, but still very enjoyable and the mechanisms allow for genuine surprises and the "there goes the plan" factor.

With all your lovely figures, it's a great shame they don't get the chance to run around and die  ;)

Sterling work, good sir! I wonder if this project has been continued at all?

Wow, talk about a blast from the past!  lol

I'm pleased that you like my efforts Baron, but unfortunately real life and shiny things took me in very different directions. The only things I had left to add were a squad of SWAT style troopers and maybe a van or two.

Hmmm... Might be time to revisit this one.

I'd be most enthralled to see this project have a renaissance. As an avid Mignolian myself, I must admit that ten years ago, Hellboy broke down the walls of reality & led me on my way into the world of pulp & the supernatural. I picked up the Hasselfee Harby sculpt for one distinct purpose & have been inspired by your efforts to expand such endeavours.

Conversely, it is the world of Witchfinder, Sir Edward Grey which captures my imagination considerably with regards to miniatures. I've acquired a sizeable collection of miniatures with bowler hats, top hats & stylish suits. The Victorian & even late Georgian era (George V & VI in any case) would arguably have possessed such dressed gents.

Naturally, I've been thrashing out ideas for RPs & devising suitable back stories & stats to get these dapper debonairs upon the tabletop. In truth, it was the combination of my passion for Hellboy & by extension, pulp, in addition to my growing collection of smartly dressed raconteurs which led me to this very forum. It seems the place where such ideas are explored & come to fruition. One need look no further than this very thread to see how this site's members pursue bizarre & wondrous interests while inspiring those who may otherwise remain stagnant. Bravo, good man!
