Both excellent work,  Ultimately, the great scene set by the peasant workers won me over.  But both show great painting skill.

Lovely little diorama, Curt - and very nicely painted. The figures (are they from Eureka?) are a wee bit on the munchkin side for my taste - but that in no way detracts from your paintwork.

Sorry for the delay in responding (don't know how I missed it). Yes, the figures are all from Eureka. I agree with you in that some of the proportions seem a little 'stunted' but I let that pass as they're such evocative models and fun to work with.
