If you like the premise of a world fallen due to the lost of electricity, don't under any circumstances make the mistake of watching Revolution(showing at present on Sky1). As post apocalypse TV shows/films go this is the biggest piece of implausible, unrealistic, badly written rubbish(not my first choice of noun, but the wife says I swear far too much) going.

Oooooh, I used to love The Tower King! Hadn't thought of it in years. 

From the same school of kids comics that brought you Invasion!, where the main characters were utter bastards and horrible things happened every issue.

Invasion! was a fantastic read for an 11 year old boy, made those yank comics with their men in tights look like kids stuff

Some excellent links there - I'd forgotten about the Tower King, thanks for the reminder.  The same author did Meltdown Man in 2000AD, another great strip, with art by the great Belardinelli.

And yeah, Invasion! was grittier than a cat's toilet.  Anyone remember Harry on the High Rock?

Loved how aircraft fell from the skies but their hazard/navigation lights were still on. For a PCE (post coronal event) read 30 seconds after.

It's OK, mate, there's really no words in any language to describe how abysmally dreadful the writing is for the show.
