I will post some pics later.
Played another INEPTT game yesterday but wanted to try something different to see how flexible the game is and it worked fantastically!
Each player got 1 cop (had to roll for patrolman or swat) and D4 +1 civilians. They then rolled to see what sort of civilians they had (kids, woman, nasty guy (through others under the bus), regular or ex army/police.
All were converging on a city block within a larger city, pushed by some unknown but horrible problem (Zombies!). Everyone ended up with 4 figs to control most had 3 civilians but one player had 2 cops and 2 civilians.
As they moved into the city block they were able to search building for weapons and also encountered the odd random zombie before the hordes started rolling in.
Over all the first 5 turns had 8 random Zed show up all but two were successfully dispatched with no loss of life for our heroes, however, a number of the civilians just couldn't over come their fear which had a significant impact a bit later.
On the sixth turn the horde started to arrive with 15 zombies entering the table. This included 3 Ravers (they move 15 inches, normal walkers and spitters only move 5) 3 spitters and 9 walkers. The Ravers quickly dispatched a civilian and our heroes started to collapse in on the abandon police station as their Alamo.
Turn 7 only brought in 1 more Zed but it was a bad turn for the heroes as 2 civilians panicked and killed themselves. Another two were swarmed by Zombies, all this while the remainder defended themselves very well against the incoming horde. They did so well in fact that 3 in total (2 police officers and 1 civilian - oh and later a child) all became marksmen with their excellent shooting skills.
The culmination was when a police officer was trapped alone in a room and surrounded by about a dozen Zeds and it looked like he was finished - but nope one of the other players drove a police car into the group of Zeds - killing a half dozen and then jumped through the window killing another before he was taken down
talk about heroic deeds! The Trapped officer then fought his way clear and was THE celebrated survivor from the game. He and 7 others managed to be rescued by combined INEPTT and US Security forces.
