If anyone has the 'Afrikakorps in Action' you would have seen the Italian tanker illustration.

Now that you have had your fun with the Italian tanker surrendering perhaps we could move on.

Seeing the M3 Stuart (Honey) and British Grant by Blitzkrieg on TMP this genre is surely going to be popular with modellers/collectors and gamers.

Cheers,

Helen
Best wishes,

Those pictures of the "honey" on TMP are incredible! I don't have any Blitzkreig tanks(just because I have Tamiya kits in most everything they made so far) but I hope they are as good as the pics.

I'm not a big fan of the Perrys stuff but a big Thank You to them as this joint venture has seemed to jumpstart the Blitzkreig 1/48 range again.

The range is actually 1/56 - so will scale perfectly with Perry.

I have a Honey and Valentine on the way. Really looking forward to them!

They are doing them all in 1/48 too ;)
Before the Perry releases they seemed to have stalled on new product in 1/48.The Crusaders,Valentine and some other tanks have been out in 1/48 for months.
The 1/72 line is pretty good too.

Quite right!  ;)

It's cool they are doing all at the same time (more or less).

Oh, and if you were in an Italian coffin tank you would be quick to surrender too! ;D

well the same if you were in a crusader, BT, cruiser, or even Panzer III until H... fast/cruiser/early medium tanks were the same despite the usual racist snipes.

Oh about the pasta... better than than got dysentery with AK or British Army rations full of pork in the desert...

These look very nice and I am interested to see how the range expands. I hope they do a Matilda II. I want one or two for the boys on Crete.

Ready to go! Looks nice too. The Warlord one is BEF specific, this one is desert ready.

Hey Grant
what are the differences between a BEF Matilda and a desert one?
I have both the Tamiya model and a old Bandai model and was just curious.

It's at the rear. The BEF Matilda has steel addition for ditching/helping to cross trenches. Later ones do not.

Like my name sake may suggest I am waiting for the arrival of the DAK. I only hope I can finish my current project before I am torn away to North Africa.

Do you really think the British were given pork....hmmm....I would think again as to what sort of meat it might have been... :P
