Like my name sake may suggest I am waiting for the arrival of the DAK. I only hope I can finish my current project before I am torn away to North Africa.

Do you really think the British were given pork....hmmm....I would think again as to what sort of meat it might have been... :P

It was labeled as pork but as usual when it comes to army rations... we really want to ask?  lol  Certainly the DAK received pork sausage, wurstel... quite good except in summer, African summer. The initial medical returns of the 5th Light are quite funny. It seems that after the first period the UK forces started to ask of the Indian rations rather than UK ones.

I am quite excited for this new release, but I am planning ot use the M3 and the 8th Army for Burma and Malaya not North Africa.

Blitzkrieg Miniatures are producing resin tanks to fit in with the 1/56th scale of our miniatures and the North African campaign.  These are now available though them and us.
BM 1 Valentine II  Infantry tank Mk III £18

Coming up next are the Grant, Matilda and 'Honey'.
