Brigade Swashbucklers painted
« on: November 19, 2006, 01:32:49 AM »

Four Brigade swashbucklers, finished today. I think they look a bit like the Pulp Zeppelin Truppen in retrospect.  :?  The leader's tabard has a Jerusalem cross painted on the front, back, and sleeve dingsbums. I also painted his hats and boots darker, and he has a green plume instead of bluey-gray.

Bonus! Wiggle picture:

So you did not bother with the scabbards?  I guess they wouldn't add much to the effect of the figures...

I left the scabbards off because I don't have them yet! It's no big deal. I wouldn't have put them on anyhow. They're easier to transport and less prone to damage without them. Besides, real swashbucklers never put their swords away!

The grating is for the Gloire in Space expansion! No, sorry. It's really my patio table.

I hit them with matte finish after this and they're less glossy now. Unfortunately the flocking glue wasn't entirely dry, and it's a bit frosty now.

Please stop wiggling. You're making me feel ill.

Neat. I must get around to buying this Gloire thing soon. But I'm not buying any figures for it yet. I have much too much to do as it is.
