Some tidbits from discussions on the Croc Forum:

Quote
The Mycenaean Peltasts will look a bit like the Trojans, but with a bit of leather armor and a fringed kilt rather than the Trojan zigzag.

Athenian and Corinthian are going to be universal models, but with city-specific shield arms, and a city-specific captain.

Quote
Amazons get cavalry instead of chariots. Only their servants/slaves ride in carts, pulled by oxen - they consider chariots to be the same thing as wagons - it is beneath the dignity of an Amazon warrior to ride in a wagon, and beneath the dignity of a horse to pull one!

The Oracle of Delphi has now been unlocked!

She's a free miniature that will be added added to most of the $160 reward levels (Council of the Gods, Skirmish, Warband, Army).

--Fitz

At last your warband arrives at Delphi, and you ask the Oracle what is needed to defeat your enemies. Her answer is mysterious: "Only with arms of bronze and fiery hearts can you defeat the stallion-breaking sons of Troy. Yet with either victory or defeat, journey home will take you through lands from whence no mortal has ever returned."

Concept art looks fantastic!  Looking forward to seeing the sculpt, the quality so far has been top notch!  Another free mini might just draw in a few of those sat on the fence?

Cheers

Quite a few of the figures are very lovely, but they're sadly the wrong period for my own use.

I am interested in that Basti gamer though.  lol   Too bad it's an add-on only.

Fair comment, they are not cheap but the game itself really plays brilliantly, so there is plenty of fun to be had.

On that note, the Athenians are on the horizon...

I can't afford to back any of this, but I'm stoked these sculpts will be available...not that my painting could do them justice!

Mine does not either and yet I keep buying them.  I am finding after a few years of these being the primary things I paint, on those rare occasions that I get to paint, that I am getting somewhat better.

With the latest stretch-goal achieved, we've now added PDF's for both WarGods of Olympus and WarGods of Aegyptus to all reward levels above Watcher:

Lol, I was hoping that the Olympus PDF would be available for a $20 pledge - but instead for $20 I'll now be getting both PDFs and a demigod miniature... now to decide which one  ;D

After a couple of quiet days there has been a surge of almost $9,000 so far today!

I wonder if this lot have anything to do with it?

But an amazon faction for my gaming might coax the wife into gaming with me some times...

Tough call...
