Right.
I think my painting mojo is back, and I've finished painting another skirmisher:

entry n.26 Greek slinger from Foundry:

This time, I've tried to paint a 3 days old beard. :)
too many periods and games: Antiquity, fantasy, WW2, zombies, and VSF....

Here's my next entry: the second elefant and therefore the last for my FoG battle group.
Another 15mm fig from corvus belli. (and only another 2 elefants to come! ;))

Entry No. 27: carthaginian elefant 2

I think the red on the helmets needs another highlight - but it doesn't show that much in real.

and here are both together

Well Romans are a bit under represented here, so here is one. It is a conversion, Salute 2006 Arthur´s body with Musketeer head and GB plastic Thegns sword. Based on a 30mm base to serve as the champion in my slowly growing Dux B. force.

Entry No. 9: Late Roman Champion

Now, that's inspiring! Mind if I steal your idea? I honestly only steal from the best ;D

Gents and ladies, we've created a dedicated APC gallery to store all the entries in one single place. The pictures are arranged in the order of appearance here, and I'll update that gallery as we go along. Eventually, as we'll have reached the 100 limit, it shall provide a nice overview of what's been achieved. And in the meantime it's to encourage new contributions, of course. :)

Here's the link: Ancients Painting Club – Hall of Fame

PS: In each photo's description there's a link included leading to the original post, along with the contributor's name and the manufacturer of the pictured mini. Please provide that last information in your posts. Thanks!

I'm loving this and have started an entry which I hope to finish by the weekend.  The only downside being that when I trawled the pile for some ancient goodness I found quite a few incomplete unit quantities and after some bedtime reading of various army lists have now ordered even more toys.

Excellent Alex.
These Black Tree Ancient Germans are really very nice looking figures. Do they scale in well alongside the Copplestone sculpted Foundry Ancient Germans?
