Spanish Musketeers
« on: May 25, 2013, 01:46:41 PM »
Thought I'd show everybody my first finished unit for my Dutch revolt / wars of religion project. This is supposed to represent a company of Spanish Musketeers for the late 16th century. The plan is to do a couple of arqubusier companies and a couple of pike companies which, when combined, should make a Tercio!

Yeah, it was seeing your ones that made me go out and buy them! I must point out that quite a few of them have had head swaps, either max-mini or bicorne.

Very nice but, fortunately for me, the wrong scale to tempt me to build in yet another era for a "Spanish" army..

Gracias,

Glenn

Very nice. ;D

I didn't know Gamezone miniatures. If they are historically accurate, they should say it. ???

The Wars of Religion are one of my projects. In Brittany it was a bit special as there was almost no Protestants, but extreme Catholics (the "Ligue") fighting against other Catholics who were supporting the French king; and Spanish and English support forces to each side.
