I am looking for unarmed Old West civilians. Some of you may have seen my post about looking for figures for Serrenity/Firefly. I do not play any Wild West games so I am not familiar with all the figures out there. I know Blue Moon just came out with some unarmed civilians. Are there any others?

Foundry have some in their Old West range. Dixon also do some.

What size are Dixons figures and how do they match up with others like Foundry, Blue Moon, Black Scorpion, Artizan, etc.?

Small 28's, Black Scorpion will dwarf them. There are some nice figures, especially the piano player and saloon girls. There is also a paoker table and players that is nice.

Hands down is West Wind.  Look for their Victorian stuff (Victorian civilians, Victorian Thungs, and Gentlemen)f mixed within their vampire ranges.  Good stuff. The Blue Moon stuff is practically a direct copy, but they have those infernal bases.

Where does one find these Victorians? Is it in a separate area to their Horror ranges? I can't seem to find them on their site.

are these the ones you are looking for!

from west wind I only have the tsar and the family and they scale up quite well with the artizans, the copplestones and the foundries!
Cheers,
Pedro

Knuckleduster also do some townsfolk.
personally i'm not too keen on the sculpting style but i did buy the saloon crowd, just had to have those thirsty cowpokes drinking at the bar  :)

The Knuckleduster saloon figures are nice enough and at a reasonable price (7 for $12).  Their Fancy House Gals, Clerks and Bystanders are also nice (3 for $6).   If your town is close to the border, Old Glory Mexican civilians will fill up the streets (30 for $30).

Blue Moon has a new western civilian box set coming out and Brigade Games has just released a new pack of western civilians.... Brigade Games also has a range of Victorian thugs etc to do Gangs of New York style play...

Also Audrey if you are planning to do Firefly I would suggest using the Star Wars clix-like figures... with your skills I am sure you can convert some of those to meet your needs.
