Thanks all, very humbling as usual.

Thanks for the advice with the drainpipe, there is already some green on there but the pic isn't bringing it out very well. Perhaps anyone seeing it at Colours at the weekend can let me know what they think then  ;)

Braz, I thought about leaving a bracket on the wall but forgot all about it. Great minds think alike..... until one of them forgets.. ;)

As for the wharf, a few bits have come together and I'll post some pics next week. Still quite a way to go with that one yet.

Thanks again for the comments and advice.

That's just one stunningly beautiful piece TC, bloody marvelous. You wouldn't happen to have any extra ones? :D

The missing pipe detail looks great as it is, only thing that comes to mind is maybe adding a wee tiny water effect pond underneath... if it has rained just recently, that is. And since it's is the UK, I guess it rains constantly or at least there is a moist windy atmosphere :D But all in all, I think it doesn't need anything extra, just perfect as it is.

... in it's context as part of a wharf later in the week. Oh did I mention the wharf I'm working on?  ;)

No, you didn't mention it but we demand pics now!

Hear hear! Can't wait to see the wharf!

Is it just a platform, or are there buildings too?

Top job and very inspiring  8) 8) 8) 8)

How thick are the roofing tiles as I have some styrene tiles from a UK supplier and they look way too thick - 1mm thick I think - so difficult to get them to lie correctly.

Saw these all in the flesh at Colours at the weekend and had a chat with Mr Chicken. Look even better all together on a gaming table. Liked the screen printed mat as well.
So much to do, so little time...

Thanks very much chaps. I promise I'll post pics of the wharf soon, it is indeed a mix of buildings and canal side, anyone who saw the table at Colours would have seen it in its early stages.

Mindenbrush, the tiles are around 1mm or just under but as they are card so wont have difficulty getting them to lie correctly.

Coronasan, was good to meet you. Glad you liked the table.
