Otterburn question
« on: May 28, 2013, 05:41:08 AM »
Hello,
Does anyone know if the Front Rank HYW range of miniatures would be appropriate for Otterburn?
Thanks very much,
Chris

Short answer is yes, though as the Hundred Years War went on for about 70 more years after Otterburn, some of the figures might be a little late. But taking a quick look at the galleries many of those figs look fine to me.

I'd argue some also look too early. The 14th century was a time in which armour developed very rapidly and the style your grandpa wore in the 1340s was different than your dads in the 1350s which was different from yours in the 1370s.
