Historical models, but they will see service against some demons and beastmen eventually. They're from Fireforge Games. I plan on picking up a box of their infantry (Templar or Teutonic) very soon. I'm thinking of mixing in some bits from Gripping Beast's Vikings.

Excellent work all the way around. I fell in love with this hobby by following historical gamers and still spend most of my time on those pages viewing their work.

The horses are particularly nice as are those shields. Nice, clean tidy painting.

It's funny, I used to hate painting horses! I've really enjoyed these horses from Fireforge.

Lovely paintwork on some nice minis. It just goes to show there is plenty of fantasy inspiration and fuel for projects in the historical world.

One of my beliefs is that some of the finest Fantasy minis are Historical ones...& vice versa. Your WONDERFULLY painted & based creations prove this out. The attention to details & color choices are inspirational. VERY WELL DONE!

these could be a good way to flesh out my Bretonnian mounted units....any idea how they scale with the 5th edition Bret mounted squires?

I don't know 100%, but I'd imagine they fit pretty well. They're more into the heroic scale in proportions.

I finished four more of the mounted sergeants. I changed the shield design and I think they fit much better. Two more to complete and the box is done. I'll move onto infantry next. Haven't settled on an enemy for these guys yet. I'm still torn better demons, "chaos warriors," or I might even do some elves.
