28mm CH46 Sea Knight
« on: May 30, 2013, 09:51:27 AM »
Has anyone seen these or gotten one for their marines?

Even though I still need to order the Eureka ones, I was thinking I might like to pick one of these up. I know at 1/55th scale it might be a little off. But hell, I've used 1/43rd to 1/60th scale die cast cars together and they looked fine enough.

I don't have this one but I do have a Blackhawk & an Apache from the same manufacturer, both of which are nice.
Cheers,

I have one. It scales perfectly with my Eureka Marines. Nice little model. Usable out of the box or you could dirty up the panel lines etc. A good investment.

Sounds like it might be worth picking up for my Battle: LA game.

Not that it would make a buying difference, but does the back ramp come down?

Nope, it's cast in place. Rotor blades do fold away which is handy for storage or in the unlikely event you want to depict it stowed on a 1/55 scale aircraft carrier.

If you've ever seen the old 80's G.I Joe USS Flag it might be 28 mm scale. Things MASSIVE!
