IHMN Company - Brothers of St. Vitus
« on: May 31, 2013, 05:03:24 PM »
Hi,

I'm just getting into IHMN. Here's my first company, The Brothers and Sisters of St. Vitus.

The stats are on my blog here:

http://tewblogger.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/brothers-and-sisters-of-st-vitus.html

I used imaginary Carbines as their main shooting weapon. This is to reflect some sort of magical power of god holy cleansing fire, or something, but the rules work exactly the same as the statted weapon. Similarly, their fighting weapon is some sort of holy hand of god thing, but that works exactly the same as Martial Artist.

A highly original use of the rules, and all wedded together with an excellent theme - well done that chap!

Cheers,

I've just started an arc rifle company conversion: http://tewblogger.blogspot.co.uk/2013/06/queens-own-arc-rifles.html

Here's another odd IHMN company. I imagine there'd be a bit of difference of opinion over the best way to stat them. But this is a version. You could just keep giving the Doctor endless talents and powers, if you wanted.

I've made some vehicles of the Royal Arc Force, which will probably end up under some sort of variation of the IHMN steam carriage rules.

" I don't really have a lot of Victorian-looking stuff so have been making up a few company lists based on what minis I do have."

Well done, though they could stand the addition of a few rivets...  lol

Never say no to some crazed friars and nuns. Though, don't know enough about St. Vitus, other than the syndrome named after him, not to wonder about further characteristics. Love a little extra backstory.

The train is an excellent start as well, but we never say no to... more rivets!  ;)

LOVE the arc rifle, and well amused by the 'other' company.

SO envy your vigor and originality!

Doug

Brothers and Sisters, I see -reminds me of 'Mach Women with Guns' :)

Btw did someone build a company using the Hinterland Hussarettes -possibly with Nadezhda Durova as the leader?

Yes, I liked them  before I read the rules completely but now I really like the background even more.  Simple, clean, and well designed, quite nice work.

Gracias,
