Love 'em! Great job!

Very wacky but managing to keep the period feel, wonderful stuff. I particularly like the Belgians (not a sentence I utter every day!).
I told you so. You damned fools.

Thanks all -

@ Beast - Glad you got that from the PJ - Even though the female city Martian doesn't represent Dejah Thoris, I was inspired by Lynn Collins' movie version (Wish they'd make a sequel :() - more of a brawler then a bauble, and a bit more between her ears than the book version.

@ Answer is 42 - The combination of your username and praise for Belgians made me think of this: http://hitchhikers.wikia.com/wiki/Belgium.  I suppose it is a little wacky (It's VSF after all! :D)... the setting is a mash up of quite a few things: Space 1889, ERB's Barsoom, with a bit of Call of Cthulhu thrown in.

I used the ideas on this page as a springboard... http://www.heliograph.com/trmgs/trmgs4/cthulhu1889.shtml then tweaked it and added to it.

Going to try and do a few more figs today while I watch the footy - just got to saw the bases off them :/

You and me, bruddah. Not perfect, but Disney ruined it a lot less than I expected. Except for marketing, of course.

I even tolerated the cute pooch aspect.

Wish they'd make a sequel :(

Me three! My kids, wife and I all enjoyed it, though obviously we were in the minority, which is not unusual... All I have to read is that critics hate a movie to know I will probably LOVE it!  lol
