Looking for a model - non-bipedal, walking tank
« on: June 15, 2013, 09:18:10 PM »
I'm trying to find a particular kit, but I'm not sure who makes it. It's a six-legged (possibly eight-legged) tank, vaguely in a WWII-style. It is not the one manufactured by Ramshackle Games or Westwind Productions, and I don't think it's from the DUST line. Image searches haven't turned up anything. Any help would be appreciated.

No, that isn't it, but thanks for taking the effort. The legs on the model I'm thinking of are much more horizontal than vertical.

Was the tank hull one that you recognised (ie KV-2, Sherman, etc)?

And I found one on the Dust line of minis that fits your description:

I can be turned into 3 versions so maybe you saw one of them?

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it's that one. I wasn't sure whether Dust had any non-bipedal tanks.

Dream forge games used to put a model walker with a main gun and eight mini-guns on it, called it the black widow or the widow maker, not completely sure which one.
hope this helps.
