Long time since I reported - or did anything!
I have managed to pack in the box 12 models and 19 terrain pieces, as well as 9 gaming surface tiles. The tiles are complete (I am going for a minimalist approach), and 15 of the terrain pieces are ready - the other four should be done today. All that's left are:
1) improving tile storage
2) creating effective model storage to prevent any damage to the knights
3) painting the knight models
4) taking pics!

That's not all!
0) taking WIP shots ;)

Good effort. Sounds like you have been very productive vanvlak. We Look forward to seeing what you have squeezed in the box.

You're right, that too.
And it's hammered, not squeezed....!

Oh good, Vanvlak. I need to see what i'm up against.. we need to be able to encourage your building efforts. Who am I kidding? I need to steal your ideas.  ;)

Cheers
Matt

In that case, I definitely have to take pics  :D
But there won't be much to steal, and I need all the encouragement I can get - to take pics at least, it's something I find positively distressful!  :o

OK, I failed - but the challenge has been relaunched, so, back to work!
As explained in the main Pappis Box thread, I am rebranding it slightly - I was doinga game based on Epic scale combat between Imperial and Eldar Knights, and the scenery consisted of a stylised minimalist gaming surface with a number of skyscrapers.
Now last night I saw - and enjoyed - Pacific Rim, so all I need to do is to retain a mix of allied Imperial and Eldar Knights Jaegers, and find a half dozen Kaiju as their opponents.
I also need to finish the models, possibly add some scenery, and decide what rules to use. Tyranids never had knight-sized beasties, so no rules there, although I could always improvise. Any alternatives? Kaiju island, perhaps?

You could try Privateer Press' Monsterpocalypse figures. If you don't mind them being plastic and somewhat cartoonish, that is?
