EotD Vampires
« on: June 13, 2013, 06:48:52 AM »
Hi there - new member on the forum, so I thought the best start would be a few pictures.

I guess quite a few people on this board have bought into the WestWind Empire of the Dead kickstarter, and while I wait for the figures to come, I have started on a few basic gangs. This is the first of them - the Vampire starter box.

All are just simple paint jobs, though I did add a scarf to one of the minions - the starter has three with masks and one without, so I pushed a little greenstuff in there for consistency.

Next up will be the Servants of Ra from NorthStar for In Her Majesty's Name...

Nice choice of colors,  helps tie the band together. I look forward to your Servants of Ra, I'm busy on my Scotland Yard at the moment but i have to say the Servants are my favorite.

Oh I like these. Very vibrant colour choices and they fit the figures nicely.

Great stuff, an excellent way to introduce yourself. :)

Post your EOTD stuff in the Gothic Horror board. I know the game has elements of VSF and steampunk, but generally things involving Vampires etc will get the best exposure here. :)

The move of topic was appropriate, but PLEASE do not consider yourself moved here.  lol

We await your Servants of Ra as posts on VSF, and will be watching for further things going bump in the night here.  ;)

Excellent introductory work!

Superbly painted, and I agree a  very simple but clever colour scheme.

By the way, can someone tell me if the tattered lining to the 'count's' cape is part of the model, or just inspired paint. If the latter, I'd suggest brilliant just upped a notch.

Thanks for the positive feedback,  it's much appreciated. I never seem to get as much painting time as I would like, so this sort of comment is very kind.

And the lining is sculpted. :)

Having them all masked helps hold then together as a gang. Great job.
