« on: June 13, 2013, 02:07:56 PM »
Hey,

While hunting though Ebay i came across these Explosive Lances, and thought boy they will go great with my Genestealer Cult Rough Riders (And were a bargin at 10p lol)

Now what company made them and where can i get more?

No clue, but if I can spew my only thought on these, I'd say a resin recast of some Warzone parts. they certainly have that nineties-not-GW vibe going...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

With the amount of flash a recast is possible i guess but i know little about the Warzone range. Only reason i want to know who made them is because i want more heh.

Thanks

Hehehe, well, I already looked and I can't really place them.

I thought it might be these:

But I am not sure at all.

They do look a tad different, but certainly the same style...

Looks close, hmmm maybe there a custom sculpt or a small independent company. Thanks for helping out though :)

I think they're from a short lived fan project which did female guard and rough riders among others. They were only available to subscribers for a short period.

I was thinking of Victoria Miniatures too, but it is not them.

They were from the Phoenix Club's moa rough riders as Wachaza said (these are my ones in case you're curious)

Sculpted by Col. Gravis who now has his own range: http://www.curiousconstructs.co.uk/ Unfortunately looks like he doesn't have any lances at the moment, but I'm sure you could drop him a line through the site.

Scratch that, memory is playing tricks. Col. Gravis did the torsos but I have a vague memory that the arms were done by the same sculptor as the bird.. possibly a chap named Ming? Either way you'll struggle to get hold of any I'm afraid.
