This is the only picture of the Norwegian army around 1928 I can find-
[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Norwegian_soldiers_with_Krag-J%C3%B8rgensen_rifle_and_Madsen_LMG.jpg]
Can anyone else tell me more of the uniform of around 193o or the norwegian army of that date ?
cheers
Alan

Sorry norwegina army are not my area of knowledge but I found this site that I suppoue you already checked , its 1940 info but as the Norwegisn army was in declin they probably used the same uniforms and equipment in 1940 as in 1930 and also reused even older equipment as in Sweden.

http://www.nuav.net/Nouniforms.html

Also an old picture from 1905, the time Sweden and Norway split, a situation that almost got to a armed conflict...

Best regards Michael

Thanks for replying.I think the 1940 uniform was introduced around 1934.I quite fancy using the earlier one for my purposes. The 1905 piccie is most interesting too.
Cheers
Alan

You might want to do a little work to ammunition pouches and caps but they look not dissimilar to early war Austrians.

Have a look at the Renegade range:
