Matthew Bickley has pulled out all the stops with these delightful sculpts, some of his finest work yet.

Four officers to represent the many varied characters who commanded troops during the Texas War of Independence.

Officer dressed in buckskins smoking a cigar whilst firing his pistol:



Gentleman cocking his pistol, possibly about to engage in a duel:



A Tejano or Mexican encourages his men into battle:



A gentleman officer draws his sword in anticipation of a fight:



The greens will go off to the casters this week and will appear in the Boot HIll Miniatures website shop soon. :)

Ooh, those are nice.  The last one has great conversion potential for someone over this side of the pond in the current popular games I reckon.

I need to get all my other stuff finished before a break into this genre. I really have no excuse living here right next to the Alamo.... and here I am painting colonial British soldiers so they can march across mars.  ;D

These have been some months coming,due to illness/accident to the sculptor I believe,but wow! Well worth the wait,such character in all four sculpts,fantastic.
