I thought he was from Artizan but now I can't find him. I'll have another look.

Mason, I think you're right. I do have the Bob Cratchett and Tiny Tim figure as well so I think you have hit the nail on the head!

Officer Crabtree: "I am mauving in a ginger fashion becerrs my poloceman's pints are full of dinamote!"

The next figure is complete. This Gefreiter has found the sausage containing “The Fallen Madonna” with the big boobies by Van Klomp. However he seems to have discarded the much-sought after painting in favour of eating the sausage! This is not actually a character in ‘Allo ‘Allo but when I saw this miniature I had to have him in this project.

Great project can't wait to see Helga. You need to build the restuarant with details like the grandmother up stairs in bed. Would the Sd.Kfz.222 also not be in grey rather than camo?

Yes, it's going to need a re-paint and then Gruber will be able to drive his 'little tank'!  ;)

I haven't done much painting recently as I've been organising my Dad moving in with us. However, I've managed to finish the interior brickwork which means I can get on with painting now. I'm wondering whether to do the bricks in a sort of institutional gloss dark green and cream rather than painting them as bricks. Any thoughts?

Maybe like this................

That would look good,  I reckon. Perhaps dark at the bottom third,  light at the top? The darker colour is often at the bottom as it's most likely to get dirty and scuffed.

Yes, I agree dark at the bottom. I've ordered some Humbrol gloss ivory and Brunswick green and I'll paint a test piece first when they arrive.

I am afraid the standard of figure painting is not very good but progress is being made, slowly. Officer Crabtree is pissing by.

Crabtree: "Good Moaning, I have come to arost your mither."
Yvette: "Arrest her mother, why?"
Crabtree: "She has been pissing fudged bank notes in the hot shop."
Edith: "What does Crabtree say Yvette?"
Yvette: "I think he said 'she has been passing forged bank notes in the hat shop'."
Crabtree: "Presoasly!"
