Wattle Fences
« on: June 27, 2013, 04:55:39 PM »
Hi Folks

Back to the shed workbench – this time its for Wattle fences – just the sort of things you might find in a small medieval village or outside the local priory.

I do appreciate that this particular method of making wattle fences has been done before but here is my attempt. A full tutorial is up on the blog.

Until next time

That's a great approach and technique. I know the Crush the Kaiser lads did wattle with thread which they then doped to get it harder. I prefer your technique.  8)

Wow! Another different approach to wattle fences! If anyone looks at all the different ways people have posted on here and can't find one they like I think it's really bad luck.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!
