Grow your own trees - How-to.

Well, make your own trees, actually, but I thought "grow" sounded funnier. lol

I've written a how-to on making trees for a few pence each, here:

It's a bit image-heavy, but hopefully it's easy to follow because of that.

Here's a shot of the finished item, just as a taster.
Measure with a micrometer, mark with chalk, cut with an axe, hammer to fit, paint to match!

Great tutorial.

I've used some similar paste on sticks to elongante softwood tree models to 40cm height and for lazyness' sake I've added black paint straight to the paste. Later I sprayed the stems with matte varnish and the frosting did all the highlighting job for me.

Far less active than I used to...
