Looking for stairs
« on: June 17, 2013, 10:45:39 AM »
Hi guys,

Sorry if this has been asked before, but if it has I can't find it...

Are there any companies that produce exterior stairs kits for 28mm wild west buildings? I seem to recall seeing a laser cut set a while back, but now I can't find it for love nor money. UK or Europe is preferred to save on shipping.

Many thanks in advance!

M

I too remember there being a set. I'm searching through my bookmarks but no luck so far. I could do with some myself as I hate scratch building stairs. The search continues...

I think it was 4Ground but may have been Battle Flag.

US based and not the one I was thinking of, Gamecraft do some.

I too thought it might be Battleflag. Their site is a nightmare for me to navigate on my phone though.

Edit: Sarissa have palisade stairs in their dark age range

See, it's not just me going mad :-)

Really good shout on those palisade stairs - they look generic enough to work.

Thanks everyone!

I wish I had known about those stairs before doing all those papercraft and coffee-stirer work...
Far less active than I used to...

Those palisade stairs arrived today and I think they'll be perfect. If I actually get round to finishing my build this side of Christmas I'll post pictures  lol

Also, heads up for people looking for interior stairs - while they would need a little modification - 4Ground produces a nice interior stairset which may or may not fit other ranges:

Nice one Elbows. Cheers. Looks like an overdue order to 4Ground and Sarissa is on the cards. I really hate scratch building stairs!

I am not a fan of stairs...not at all... lol and I've made my fair share.  If anyone orders the 4Ground interior stairs I'd love an actual measurement of the exact height.  I'm curious what they'll fit inside.  I'd imagine most buildings would accommodate them nicely (especially if you cut out the upper floor properly...)
