The Reptiliad project.
« on: July 07, 2013, 03:33:13 PM »
I have decided to start a bit of a fantasy orientated blog so have begun the process here:

http://reptiliad.blogspot.co.uk/

I want the blog to be a story/picture/video sort of blog and when I post things on there, I want them to be finished so I am putting together this topic as a WIP one.

The first thing I have started working on is the first of the dragons:

It is a Reaper Pathfinder Red Dragon from here:

http://miniature-heroes.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=487_502&products_id=24251

I need to base it and will be putting it on a large cavalry base in the style of the Warmachine ones (from Fenris Games). I also plan to turn the statue the Dragon is standing on, into a natural rock because the Dragon will be a mountain dragon (painted in grey/black).

There is going to be a mix of troops, civilians, Slayers and all manner of creatures that will be designed to add colour to the Reptiliad blog so hopefully, there will be plenty in here to keep things interesting.

Sounds like a very interesting project.  That's one if my favorite dragon sculpts too, I'll be watching with interest!

The Bones plastic version of the pathfinder Dragon will be available to pre-order in the MH shop on the 22nd July, along with the other 200 odd Bones miniatures.
