Just noticed something a tad odd...

The full set of 8+2 dwarfs plus the four ogres are $120

The full set of 8+2 dwarfs only are $60

The full set of 4 ogres only are $59.

So... its $1 more expensive to buy the entire set than buying the components?  Am I missing something?

Packaging issues, perhaps?

That is odd...

Gracias,

Glenn

Gary sent me the concept art for Jussac, the ogre captain for the Cardinal's guard. All I can say is wow!

Cheers,

Helen
Best wishes,

The ogres look like ugly re-enactors.
Perfect.

Perfect.

Perhaps, but to me they look the part for the Cardinal's Guard with all that it entails.

Cheers,

Helen

Just reviewed the stretch goals, and there are some nice concepts there!  Would work out to be much better value if they could all be funded as well.  Though if I pledge I will have to postpone my WK order...  ;)

Gary Price have just posted pictures of the metal Ogre Master casts at his blog:

http://ironmaskminiatures.blogspot.dk/2013/07/the-ogre-does-what-ogres-can.html

Here is a small teaser of some of the many builds you can do with this set, but check the blog for more

Exceptionally good stuff, if you ask me - and certainly worth my support.

More freebies are added to the pledges! Free Dwarf in the Iron Mask for pledges of $30 and more, free Dwarf Cardinal for pledges of $59 and more!

Quote
If we reach our funding goal, everyone who pledged $30 and higher will receive the limited-edition Dwarf in the Iron Mask figure.

The Dwarf in the Iron Mask will be limited to a production run of 200 copies. For Kickstarter backers only, each figure will be packaged with a card-sized reproduction of the Dwarf in the Iron Mask concept art, individually numbered and signed by the artist, Colin Upton. The number you get will depend on the order in which your pledge was received.

This limited-edition figure will have an integral head and separate hands including empty hands (good for prisoners) and sword and dagger (good for prisoners who are tired of being victims). As an additional bonus, he will come with two prototypes from the set of special hands planned for a February 2014 release: a right hand holding a hand crossbow (this one for you, Helen) and a left hand holding a lantern (and this one for you, Daniel). These hands, of course, are interchangeable with any of the first-release dwarf duelist hands.

If the project is fully funded before Saturday, 3 August, everyone at the $59 pledge level and higher will also get the Dwarf Cardinal. This single-piece casting bestows a blessing with his left hand while, behind his back, he crosses the fingers of his right hand.

Also did my part. These dwarfs are so lovely. I'm in for 120 and thinking about some extra dwarf bodies. Will check the finances tomorrow.

Regards,

Za
