Does Dixon do the bicycles without riders or did you shop some soldiers off them?

Dans les situations critiques, quand on parle avec un calibre bien en pogne, personne ne conteste plus. Y'a des statistiques là-dessus.

I suppose it would sound defensive if I said, "But I tried that...  :("

Thanks!

This post replaces a previous one I posted (now deleted), that had a crappy photo.

Sometimes adults from Porterhouse College or bots with special talents accompany the adventuring company to provide support:

Here we have Captain Ironside, Grim Ben and Tiberius 'Tinker' Bullshott:

Captain Ironside:

Once a promising officer, Ironside was invalided out of the Army after almost losing his leg to a Dervish sword. Ironside now teaches at Porterhouse, trains the school cadet force and is mentor to the adventuring company. Despite his wound, Ironside has become proficient in the martial art Bartitsu .

Grim Ben:

Grim Ben was captured by a mad scientist as a subject to perform experiments on. Rescued by the adventuring company, he recovered but at the cost of having to live with hideously deformed skin, making it impossible for him to return to a normal life in public. After petitioning by the adventuring company, the school took Ben in as a caretaker. Ben now takes care of both the school building and the boys of the company when out 'adventuring'. As a result of the experiments performed on him, Ben is now a lot harder to kill than ordinary men. His preferred weapon is a heavy club.

Tiberius 'Tinker' Bullshott:

A younger son of the famous manufacturing family, Bullshott was sent to Porterhouse following an incident involving an exploding dovecote. His family hoped that sending him to an out of the way boarding school would keep him out of trouble. This may have been a mistake! Young Bullshott has found new uses for his natural engineering talents in support of the adventuring company.

This company is almost complete now. Outstanding items all involve adding items of mad science to finish the company. This will involve:

  • Rework of the 'Junior' figure shown in a photo in one of my previous posts on this thread and adding a chum to accompany him - rework of first figure partially complete, to hopefully be finished by next weekend.
  • Adding a separately based piece of technology for 'Tinker' Bullshott (can also be used as an objective marker or to go with other companies) - assembled and based, to be painted this week.
  • Transport options for Cadet leaders - ordered this weekend, so will take a bit longer to complete.

The complete company (so far):

and detail of the 'junior' with his Vertical Spring Translocator:

This company is near enough finished now - another junior and the school nurse to add, plus a transport option for the young Flashhart, the company leader.

  • As my grandchildren see me...
As I feared, the 'childing' of IHMN from VSF has caused me to not follow this endeavour as closely as I would wish.

Sterling! I especially await the exploits of Grim Ben!

He has some interesting characteristics  ;)

More will be revealed once Craig has checked my company list, at which point I'll publish it for all to see.

I don't even notice it, I don't use the forum sections though to be honest unless I'm starting a thread. I use the 'Show unread' button on the left and ctrl+click all the ones I want to read. Then I just mark it all read and read through my assorted tabs. I do come on at least once a day which helps.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I am guessing he means that the IHMN is now a "child" board of the VSF section now.

Aha! Now I becomes clear. Thank you Col Grimmsdyke  lol

I was concerned that this might become the case...

I wouldn't worry too much, as people will get used to just clicking on another board.

I dare say that Doug wont forget again.
