Been a bit ill again but I managed to knock up a Shogunate standard bearer...

The arm is from the commander with the raised katana and there's a simple head swap (and a bit of 'greystuff' to hide the joins).

I just found all this, and I like what I'm seeing.

The Empress guys modified look great indeed. I would never have thought of any of these ideas.

Just some strip styrene added to make the belts and 'webbing' with the odd cartridge pack and of course some head swaps. I had a look in one of my books to see if I could get away without adding the longer jacket and it would appear so

Here are my LPL entries that I did for this project and when I get home I'll post a group shot of everything so far (not much I'm afraid

)

The British troops below are obviously the Rorke's Drift set from Empress but I thought they would make good character figures for this project. I'm not too worried about the disparity in period (there's only 10-15 years between them).
