Nice, crisp, clear photos are highly overrated. I've found high definition cameras are diabolical entities that actually hate the minis, & will show up flaws that cannot be detected in real life. A slightly blurry image allows the viewers imagination to tweak the mini portrayed. With my imagination your minis become WONDROUS to behold, which I imagine they actually are.

Hehe and that will be forever the quote i'll use :) perfect

Loving this warband. I agree with DeafNala about super quality pics often highlighting imperfections that are almost undetectable in real life so these style photo's are fine by me. Love the big army shots most. Some beautiful stuff there. Makes me jealous as my own measly skeleton warband is a mere 6 figures so far. And only 4 painted. Keep up the good work  :D

Camera focal length (?) is a number that basically tells you "Any closer that X and your clarity dies" so drop back, shoot, and zoom with any computer software (friend of mine swears at a freebie - name forgotten - and swears at photoshop because of technophobia.)

Even my DSLR has that problem if too close.  That's why I bought a macro lens for close ups on flowers/bugs.  And I bet I can even get too close for it if I tried, which I haven't.  I don't need to try to get mediocre pictures...

Detest undead but your work looks to be getting the right "flavor" to the creepies.

Gracias,

Glenn

Hopefully it won't pixalate :) I'm not too computer minded as the last 20 years of my life i played with lead rather then tech heh

Looks like you're making some good progress.

One other tip for taking pics with a crappy camera is to set the camera on the table or on a book rather than holding it while taking pictures.  Anything that cuts down on possible hand shake is worthwhile.

Here we go. The 4 painted ones only.

The two scythe wielders are pre-slotta citadel, the Liche I'm not sure who makes, picked up cheap on e-bay, and the archer is late 80's/early 90's citadel (slotta). Hope you like.

Cheers man I'll have a look. I also started a thread on here for this warband, which I'll keep adding to as I get more skellies purchased and painted. I got a few more on the painting table so keep posted.  :D

Picasa/google plus photos albums have an edit kit that auto corrects light and stuff and allows you to crop and zoom quite easy

The Master & His Minions photo is COOL...looks like something from the Old War Hammer Armies Book. All the Lads, Living Impaired or Otherwise, look WONDERFUL! They even survived the clear photographic images. GREAT WORK!

Looks awesome all layed out together like that. Where's that cool little chariot thing from? Don't recognise it. Funny how that get's you to 2000pts in 3rd, but in current version it'd probably be about 4-500 pts.  :D
