IHMN painted Tong
« on: July 23, 2013, 10:19:47 AM »
After Freelancer posted images of our most recent game of IHMN, I thought I would post images of my Tong. I didn't really think of them as "Black Dragon" more "Flowering Lotus". Hence the bright silks. The Yeti is more animalistic.

Beautiful work - they are (apart from the yeti) pretty little flowers :P

Nice work on those bright colours.
They make a lovely contrast to the more natural Yeti*.

*Which, I feel that I have to say, is my favourite version of that Yeti sculpt seen so far.

Very nice, I like the colours you have gone with.

Having little imagination I just copied the artwork on the box, and the painting guide.

Have to get piccie of my Yeti; a bit darker and more golden, but as I stated elsewhere, far closer to yours than the white and blue. Which I rather fancy, which means I'll have to have another in those colors.  lol

The good Carnage called him a Sabertooth man, which I think he was visioning the Marvel hero.

Again, going with the box colors for my Dragon Lady, but yours came out SMASHING!

Don't recall the warrior; did you go for tat's?  :D

Doug

Edit: Sorry, is this the same army as in Freelancer's AAR? Looks so to me, except for the Yeti's somewhat subdued coloration. Perfectly understandable camera variation if so, but now I'm not sure...

Now that Yeti paintjob sells the figure more than the 'official' one. Very nice work and a nice bit of vision there.
