East Africa in 15mm?
« on: August 20, 2013, 10:34:31 AM »
I can't believe that in these days of wargaming plenty that nobody makes this?  If they do I can't find them!

Could someone like Blue Moon be persuaded?

I take it from the stunning lack of support that I am alone in wanting 15mm East Africa!  lol

I second your call for this. I have been looking at this for a while but it is just not supported by manufactures and I dont know which scale to go for.

I do find it very odd nobody does it in 15mm, it is a glaring gap.

Searching Google there are several TMP threads saying the same thing.

I also have to say I have contacted Blue Moon and Peter Pig asking about this and neither even had the common courtesy to respond.

10mm - comprehensive
28mm - comprehensive
20mm - comprehensive (although most very dated castings)
15mm - Naff all.

Why?!

I asked Old Glory at the Partizan Show in the UK in June if BlueMoon had any plans for this or indeed any other WW1 developments but they said no, Blue Moon are concentrating on the Naps and a forthcoming SYW range apparently. I was hoping they would be doing Early WW1 and East Africa but it seems no such luck. I am looking hard at 10mm at the moment but I am also waiting to see what will come along over the next few months with the centenary coming up, I am sure manufactures will be keen to make the most of it. I know Kalistra are going to produce a range of 10-12 mm WW1 which will be interesting to see.
