(Army Painters) FIW First unit done 29/8
« on: July 27, 2013, 05:57:29 PM »
Hello all,
I had already decided I wanted to do something for this period so I got myself a box of Warlord/Conquest Indians. So far so good. Then I started to play Assassins Creed III, followed by a game of Muskets and Tomahawks with General Lee. Really liked the games so I bought a box of Perry AWI Brits and some civilians.
The plan is to paint a force that I can use in Muskets & Tomahawks. And it goes a little something like this.
A unit of regulars:
I'll paint them up as the 45th Nottinghamshire Regiment because I've lived in Nottingham for a while (now back in the Netherlands) so it made sense to me.
Another unit of regulars
A unit of Light Infantry
A unit of Indians
Another unit of Indians
This should give a decent size force and the fact that I can use the Indians for my Wild West Town of Broken Hill doesn't hurt either.
Wish me luck. ;)

No, no, no... Not another project. I'm not going to play muskets and tomahawks.  lol lol

Nice start though. I guess I will see these in the flesh soon  ;).

The building is the Sarissa Old West church, the tree I bought at my local model store. ;)
