Since you already have them you were in one of the first batches I did (the initial batches were not large.)

(Yes I am responding while on vacation.)

I caught the shield issue after some orders went out. In hindsight I should have had a separate shield mold done as the figures and the shields need different pressures and speeds to run properly with these figures but that is not always the case.  As said above a little green stuff or primer and paint should solve the issue plus there will be glue or putty behind that spot as well when attached to the hand. I am not sure how significant the mold line you are speaking of is as anything of significance I try to weed out but it could have slipped by me. Send me a pic to brigadegames AT yahoo DOT com as I would like to see where the issue is.

I have to put my foot in my mouth.

I started working on preparing the minis, and found a rather serious flaw: All three of the scutums have been poorly cast and have holes in the center plate...seen here.  I'll be emailing Brigade Games, but these shouldn't be shipping like this (and I'm assuming mine won't be the only ones).  One of the mini's bases is also a bit warped (missing metal)...but luckily it's the base and not a more crucial part of the mini.

The sculpts are quite excellent...though I have run into two molds lines.  Fortunately I hate using metal shields and I have a box of plastic Roman legionaires on the way, and I'll be using their shields, but they need to fix these stat.  I realize it's an easy fix for a common gamer or builder, but it's a flaw for sure.

The mold lines were not "significant"  or indicative of a major mold shift.  Very minor, just required some scraping/etc.  The shields were the only "bad" part of the stuff.  Glad it's been rectified.

If that's the case, they get my full seal of approval.   :)

Love the addition of the Crupellarius and Scissor!  Seeing as more than 1 player will likely want some of these in the campaign I'm planning, and I've only got 1 each of the Crusader minis, I was going to have to convert from some Roman soldiers.  I may still do that for one of each, but I'll be adding these poses to save myself a little time and effort.  Great job!

Progress has slowed on these and other projects due to the seven week early birth of my baby daughter Lily. Both mother and Lily have had to stay in hospital for over two weeks due to a rather tricky birth. I'm awaiting the masters of the first batch which I will base the next set of figures on.

All the best

Congrats and best wishes for your wife and daughter.

The Provocator's pose is particularly brilliant, along with the trainer. Very nice.  :-*

Paul congrats on the kid!  My sister had a kid two weeks ago...then my sister in law had a kid yesterday.  Lots of babies goin' on!  I'm ready to order my next set (or two) of gladiators whenever you get them out!  Lookin' good.

Wow!! These are all great!!  :-*  :-*  :-*

Love the Secutor's "over-shield" stance in particular and the retiarius is a triumph.

I think Paul may have heeded my request for him http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=55827.msg662912#msg662912   :)

Very happy lanista here.  :D  :D  :D
