Need a Lone Ranger and Tonto...
« on: August 02, 2013, 04:05:15 PM »
Hell-0!
After seeing the new Lone Ranger flick, I really need to get some minis to represent them.

So can anybody suggest a Lone Ranger and Tonto figs in 28mm?
On foot and mounted would be cool...

Thanks!

The only Lone Ranger I have seen in 28mm is from Artizan. He was originally a freebie sent out with one of the LOTOW supplements. Sadly he only came on foot and was not accompanied by Tonto. I think you can still get him from Northstar.

If you want to do the "Classic" Lone Ranger, I think the Black Scorpion gunslinger that both Faust and I used to make a Paladin figure, would be perfect for a classic Lone Ranger.  Tonto is tougher, either classic or Johnny Depp version.

The Artizan Lone Ranger is still a great mini & I think you can still buy it on their site (AWW302 - Legends of the Old West). My sadness at the lack of either a classic or new Tonto is well documented on these boards  :'(.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

For Tonto wouldn't any of for example Foundry Plains Indians with a crow on top do the job?

I have the Northstar Lone Ranger and it is a great miniature  ;D

Thanks for the info on the Artizan Lone Ranger, I've not seen that one before.
