Old Gold into New Lurkers?
« on: August 03, 2013, 10:02:08 PM »
I have been hanging on to a few fantasy minis over the years and thought that maybe they could earn a living as Lurkers, especially to help populate some of the more interesting missions and Black Dossier files....

The classic Grenadier 'Ghosts and Apparitions' blister pack

A Rat-Ogre that I never imagined having a use for...

And a pair of Cold Ones who will contribute nicely to any threat with a prehistoric theme...

Some definite headway clearing a rich vein of classic lead on the old mountain this month... It's nice to see some useful minis ready at last to hit the table and cause some mayhem.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing

Nice paint jobs all around. I do have to laugh at the cold ones though, it looks like they are ballroom dancing by themselves. The scarring on the rat ogres back look great, nice pinkness to them.

Nice greens on the ethereals, mate.

That Rat Ogre should serve nicely as a Blasphemous Construct....thanks for the idea, certainly stealing it as I have one of the new ones in the bits box somewhere... :D

As for the Balldancing Dinos: Cracking paintjob!
I think they look great like that, ready for a ruck.

It's always fun to fun new uses for old minis. I'm still sorting through my stuff to find suitable lurkers!

Thank you gents!
These were a lot of fun to paint, the Rat Ogre especially so.

Just noticed the base on one of the Cold Ones needs a tidy-up...  :-[
