The mouths are indeed, over-sculpted, so that if you use them as is, some of the figures have large round, open mouths.  On these figures, with mouths open wide and lips that are circular,

I don't know why, but this reminds me of something entirely unrelated to wargaming   :-X   lol
Funny, I was thinking the exact same thing...   lol

What? Jodeling?

This might be a really dumb question, but if the tribe is called the White Wolves, 'for the furs they wore' why are they dressed in pink, and not white?

I think. 'furs' refer to the wraps at their wrists and shins..?

It refers to the heavier garments they wear such as the leggings and capes.

Here, BTW, is the last of the group, where you will see White Wolf furs being worn by all the command figures.

They are on the top half, left to right... Champion, Tribal Drummer, Totem Bearer, Queen and Shaman.

Next up... the British Infantry component of the Empiral Expedition in search of fabled riches and the elusive White Wolf Tribe.

The British Expedition set off from Delhi on a warm summer night.  Sir Edward Blowhard, leader of the British expedition, sipped at his port deep in thought, as his faithful bulldog, Pugsley, slept by the side of his chair in his stateroom.

His adjutant and long companion, Capt Percival noticed the slightly worried look on Sir Edward's face, as he discreetly unpacked the Commander's kit.  He paused a moment and said:

"I shouldn't worry about Second Lieutenant Bakersmyth, Sir, he may be inexperienced but he comes from excellent breeding.  Sargent Collins is a veteran of the Second Afghan War, though Corporal Hickup is a bit of twit."

"No, Percy," Sir Edward responded, "I'm not worried about the men.  If necessary they will do their duty."

He placed the port glass firmly on his desk.

"It's those blasted rumors I'm more concerned about.  You've heard them, naked women and of all things, Dinosaurs!  Makes me wonder if this is going to be a stand up fight or a bug hunt."

Little did Sir Edward realize...

A thrilling expedition in the making...  :o

"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Victorians dealt quite well with savagery.

It's the nudity that's likely got them worried.  ;)

And...

Here they are... from top left down and right... Sir Edward Blowhard, Pugsley the Bulldog, Capt Percival, Second Lieutenant Bakersmyth, Sargent Collins and Corporal Hickup.

These are Copplestone soldiers and a Pulp Figures Bulldog.

Next up is Lady Vivian and Chinese porters.

Okay,

So here is Lady Vivian and the Chinese porters:

Nothing very dramatic here, but I need the porters.  I also try to do some new terrain with each set of mini's that I paint up.  In this case the long grass on the left side of the photo.

As Lady Vivian boarded the ship, Capt Percival felt his heart begin to pound.

And, using a CD and some foam card, here are two more jungle terrain pieces that I have recently finished:

Notice how I am mounting most of my stuff on regular plastic bases and the Copplestone figures on a washer.  By doing this I visually reduce the size differences in the figures to a degree...

BTW, my wife said to me that they don't have flowers like that in the jungle, to which I responded... "they do in my jungle!"

 lol
