ACW Black Powder game
« on: July 06, 2013, 12:34:00 PM »
hello gents,

here are a bunch of pictures from our Black Powder game on july 5 in Utrecht. The scenario was based on the second day of Gettysburg. The rebels had to fight their way through the peach orchard, wheat field and Devil's Den. The rebs made a good head start, taking out a Union brigade early in the game. Unfortunately, they were repulsed with heavy losses by a union battery hidden in the wheatfield. When the dusk settled, the rebs had to halt their assault and the Union therefore were victorious. It was a great game, 10 players in total, hundreds of figures, huge table with scenery, lots of chaos. yep, I love BP

btw, the pictures are not in the right order

Very cool. But I don't think that there are too many wargame tables that could stand up to your average wargamer climbing on them or sitting on the edge.  I have seen a table break like that once before. I would be very nervous if they were my models  :D
