Got some Crooked Dice police officers finished last night. finished last night....

Still undecided on clear bases though.  That and I've just noticed the highlights are off on a couple of belts and boots :(
Smile!  It's not that bad!

Brill!  :o  8) I think they clear base is a personal style thing. Me, myself I like being able to add stuff to my bases to create a bit of interest/narrative. Are they not very breakable? How well dies the metal model stick to it?

Thanks for the kind words! Not had any breakages so far.  I find using an industrial accelerator helps.  It's designed for use with pvc and gives a good metal/plastic bond.
As to the reasons for clear bases?  Laziness.. lots easier than sanding, painting theming etc.  That and it means he doesn't carry a bit of countryside round with him; especially noticable if you are playing something like 7tv where they can be inside/outside/on the moon etc  :D  I do love a good base though hence the jury still being out.  I'll continue to muse on it I think

Top stuff there, sir! It's a clever Idea with the clear bases, but I'm not overly sold on it myself, I'm definitely in the "bases are for mini dioramas" camp...

As for the boots, bit of gloss varnish on the toecaps and you'll be sorted!

Cheers
Iain.

They look great. I've recently started to use clear bases too and an really enjoying that models work on any surface. If you want to stick a couple of bits of terrain to it, that still works. I've used a little bit of sand or static grass to cover up glue frosting and it still looks great
