Surely that's what alternate delivery addresses are for?
It's not like my wife isn't doing the same... "What? No. I've had these shoes for aaaaaages! " ;)

I have a co-worker that has his under the table orders of miniatures shipped to our work address in his name. So he can pick them up and slip them into the house without her knowing.  lol

Me, it is just a battle of wills....she can't fathom why I send so much on hobby stuff. Yet, when I sell stuff she finds stuff that she wants to buy and thinks the money should go for...like Evita tickets!

That is a mortgage payment for me (on a 2100 sq. ft. home).
 :o
As far as the wife goes I guess I'm lucky.  She never chides about hobby dollars.  I do send her on nice getaways with her girlfriends and she has carte blanche with shoe purchases, so I guess it's even.
This is my boomstick!

Price comparison wise I don't think that you can purchase a new 40k tournament army with all the units, heros, vehicles you would need for having a complete force with options to swap out some units so you would not be playing the same force every time..................for the cost of the full set?

Yeah, i think the buy in price is steep, but if you compare it to any other 'adult' hobbies, and it's really a drop in the bucket.

But, it does boil down to big bucks for toys.

All that said, I plunked down $225 bucks on this so far...
