If people see the other arms in the set as too small for the big girl, then perhaps some of the arms from the male set would suit better? Don't have either set but just a thought? Might allow some different poses as well.

That's not going to work either.  Her shoulder joint is much larger than any of the men's arms, with the exception of the hefty figure from the male set.  I've dry fit the parts from both figures and it looks like you can swap the male arms with the AK-47 for the female arms with the RPG onto either body.

There you go, your fat boy now has an RPG!  ;)

I'm going for this set even though I will probably only need 3 or 4 'player characters' to begin with, I would love to see an equipment set, improvised weapons, ruck sacks and civilian weapons for example, and maybe a police/national guard set.

I can see all those extra weapons forming the basis of a gun shop too!

Plus SA80's are ideal for UK games too.

Agreed, an equipment frame coupled with the weapons frame from both sets, in one box would sell like crazy.

Or a military armory.  Anyone on in the UK want to swap SA80s for M-16s?   ;)

Got my set from Grekwood Miniatures (very quick service), and they're about what I was expecting.

I do wish they'd do something other than flat head/body connections. They did this with the male survivors as well, and it limits the possibilities to looking left or right. Something that would allow the head to move up and down a bit shouldn't be too much trouble - others have been doing it for years.

Weapons wise, there are no swords (and none in the male survivors set either). This set at least has some standalone pistols, but empty holsters to go along with them would have been even better.

The set definitely has potential, I just wonder how much effort it will take to fully realise that potential.

I like the weapon shop idea.. hmmm sounds like my next terrain project.

Not to concerned with the lack of swords.. I have loads of extras from my 28mm samurai, knights and other fantasy ventures of mine. Others may not be so lucky though..

There is a pistol holster on the body frame and four more on the weapons frame.  It was annoying that they came molded with an ammunition pouch but they're there.

I have an unprinted file of a weapons store from Worldworks... I may have to get it done and get this set, then...

I finally got my first set of ten female survivors painted and I've put a review up on my blog.  The real short story is that it's a mirror image of the men's set (with all the same pros and cons).  Here's a link to the full review:

I love her.   I already have 'zombie her' ready to go!

Nice subtle painting. Personally, I would accentuate the eyes a bit more, but overall very nice.  :)
