Spanish-American rules used?

over at http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=57163.0 there is some small consensus that SAW is more Colonial then Big Battalion.

Not 100% sold on that but it may be a definition thing.

Anyway, what non-skirmish rules do you suggest/play by for SAW?

depends a bit of the scale of the battles You want to play
I would always suggest T&T as a entry

basically any ruleset that features WW1 weapons should float Your boat. it is always simpler to leave stuff out than to add rules
