OGAM is about God on God warfare, it doesn't matter whether it's the same or a different pantheon. The only thing discouraged/ forbidden is using the same God, so two players shouldn't really be playing Thor against Thor.

There are stats for Balor in the book, so you could do a Fomorian V Irish Gods game no problem.

Has any thought been given thought to playing battles within a pantheon rather than pantheon versus pantheon? For instance I would be very interested in playing Ragnarok or Celtic gods versus Fomorians, or Olympians vs Titans.  Otherwise isn't this just a rehash of Wargods? What's different about this game that should make me want to play it instead of that (other than the awesome figures)?

I think you may have that back-to-front – Wargods was designed to play battles within a single pantheon, while OGAM is designed to be able to do that AND to have multi-pantheon battles. In that respect, it's more versatile than Wargods. OGAM is also based on the myths and legends themselves, rather than being a fantasy interpretation of the mythology – so you actually bring Anubis to the table, not just a couple of dozen guys that look like him.

All the major gods and legends for the four pantheons are present, and any that aren't can be created in about 3 minutes flat with the unit builder in the book. So, for example, statting up Cronus as a God character for use in a Titanomachy game:

He's powerful, but not a war deity, so that puts him in the Q2 C4 crowd – 50pts. Adding Traits, Ambusher (3pts) seems appropriate, as does Group Fighter (8pts), Hammering Blow (10pts) to represent his sickle, Huge (3pts) obviously, and Tremble Before My Might (10pts). Total – 84pts
As he's a God, this points total is quadrupled for his final points cost: 336pts (legends are x2, mortals x1)

Cronus (336pts)
Q2 / C4
Ambusher, Group Fighter, Hammering Blow, Huge, Tremble Before My Might

For context, that makes him the same cost as Ares, and 6 points less than Zeus, so he's right up there with the big dogs!

I've added to the gallery on Facebook images of the free figures that will be part of the Nickstarter offer we'll be launching very soon.

So in most standard games can we expect forces to be between 20-30 miniatures then?

Less than that.

The armies should be 900pts, this is a Celtic Force we put together from the sample lists:

It consists of a God, 4 Legendary creatures and 14 mortals.

Great.   :D

Time to go through the lead pile and dig out some mortals ready for this.

Nice, simple and easy warbands to make!

How exactly does the Nickstarter work then, and when does it 'start'?

We are putting the pieces together to begin the Nickstarter. I just need our Kev to design the page saying what it's all about, and we'll begin!

I'll post on LAF first of all to say we've begun, oh course.

Will the models on your website with no current picture of the miniature have such pictures when your fundraiser starts?  Its hard to want to buy something without knowing what it looks like first.  ;)

Can you share a bit more detail about the Fomorians?  Will they be a full faction? What figures are you using?
