U 51 was destroyed by U - Cachalot in August 1940 in the Biscaya.
Seems like they were not sunk but they vanished somehow and surface in a kind of different world...

Whatever...

... great work Grimm !

The Ubootwaffe must have hit hard times if old Dönitz is sending those poor sods out in 30-year-old petrol-engined death-trap Ocarina boats (complete with original Imperial Navy ensign, too).

Just kidding! Love it.  :)

Totally agree - some of the best painted figs I've seen.  You're really caught that gruelling time at sea U-boat crew look.
They were all drawn to the Keep; the soldiers who brought death; the father and daughter fighting for life; the people who have always feared it; and the one man who knows its secret....

lol lol  oh yes Plynkes !! I suspect that some one notice that the U-Boot is a WW1 one and the crew is WW2 but any way my brother tell me that the Germans use ww1 U-boots also in ww2 in the Black Sea .
I don´t know if that is right but why not use these U-Boots for special missons like pick up agents .
So I will use that for interwar pulpy stuff (don´t look at the SMG please  ::)).

About the Imperial Navy ensign I use them because a flag looks better and I don´t want to show a    swastika flag in the Forum.

Cheers Grimm

I totally got it, Grimm. I was just teasing you.  :)

Lovely job on both the crew and the sub, by the way. The little flags and cables and such are great touches.
