DMH card size

May be a silly question - I was going to get sleeves to protect my DMH cards, but I forgot one at home to measure - does anyone know what size the cards are, and how many are in the deck??

40 Characters
36 Outlaw
36 Lawmen

The 36&36 are roughly standard card size if I recall. The Characters are larger, almost like a large index card size...I was debating to laminate them instead.

I only have 1 character card, came with my lawmen posse...

I don't mean 36x36...I was meaning 36x2....typo!

It is 72 playing card style (or slightly smaller), 36 lawmen, 36 outlaw
then the 40 larger character style, which are almost like an index card size (the larger one)

May be hard to buy slips for them, so I am thinking as I said laminate at a print shop.

Ahh no problem, thanks alot for the update! I'm going to check at home tonight, and possibly Fantasy Flight makes sleeves that are close...otherwise, laminating is a good idea!

For DMH ... each gang has a single (1) gang card with special rules (that is standard card size, ~3"x4").  Each "suite" (hearts, diamonds, spades, and clubs) are standard Ace thru King (15 cards) with 2 jokers (one of each colour) --- but all of these cards are smaller than normal sized cards by 1/2.

So:

4 x 3"x4" standard sized playing cards.
62 x 1.5"x2" small sized playing cards.

(my game uses 36 Outlaw cards, 36 Lawmen cards, and 40 Character cards --- Styx the character cards are normal Tarot size cards, so if you buy standard Tarot sized covers they will fit).

No kidding ... DMH is my first foray into Old West so I don't have the baggage just yet of multiple rules systems (got lots of baggage from other periods though) :-)

@Elbows: Tarot cards!!??  Do you do palm readings as well?

SNS, The Rules with No Name and Legends of the Old West, so yea....plus I was looking at DMH and may still get it in the future.

Oh and Styx, you didn't mention the 72 weapon cards...so I hope they were included in your order!

Yep...they was there...and yea I forgot that....as I said I was at work, so the ole memory isn't what it used to be.
