I haven't bought an Osprey in a long while but I may give this one a look, thanks for the heads up.

Also, I like the 'frequently bought together' bundle at the bottom of the Amazon page:

I am glad this is out,but the subject matter,should have been  2 volumes,one for africa and one for asia,nonethe less I am grateful,should be here tommorow.

Just received,great book,nice companion piece to the WW1 East Afrika osprey. I love the plates.

They're all new releases, that's why they're bundled together.  Lots of completists out there apparently.

I received this book recently and I was pretty unimpressed, it's just far too short for the subject it professes to cover. I'm not sure Ill get any use of it even though I have a large German Darkest Africa force on the slate.

Bummer. What's a better book? Isn't there a Schiller publishing book on the topic? I have a lot of old cigar card photos, but I've always wondered about their accuracy.
