Help needed with high priest figure
« on: August 23, 2013, 05:35:15 PM »
Next on the list of figures I'm looking for is a high priest figure (and maybe some lesser priests) for a British cult I'm working on for IHMN. Can any of you help with suggestions?

The figure must be suitable for a 'modern' European man (i.e. Victorian/Edwardian and NOT just an ancient/medieval/fantasy/Middle Eastern figure recycled). Think of him as the leader of a band of countryside cultists worshipping an ancient Celtic deity or one of Lovecroft's Elder Gods. Civilian clothing or robes are acceptable or, even better, robes over 19th/early 20th century clothing.

One of the Cultists from the Cult of Ra? Just swap the club/pistol for a sacred knife or book.
So many projects..... so little time.......

I have the seated fella from here:
http://pulpfigures.com/products/view/47

If that one works for you, Dave, send me a PM and let me know.
I also have a few others spare from Pulp and Artizan.
I am sure that I must have something suitable for your uses.
 ;)

Yes indeed, a suited figure (with or without robes and regalia) in a suitable 'high priest' posture would be my ideal solution :)

Thanks for the suggestion but I want to see the figure's face, so he either needs a cowled hood or bare head.

BTW - If in robes he must have trousers and shoes (not bare legs/sandals)

The cultists in the Servants of Ra company have trousers and shoes as they are supposed to be dilettante nobles who've been beguiled into the cult. Golden Dawn style :)

I thought you were describing Professor Rathe.

Could you not add robes to a gentleman figure?

I'd go with Artizan's Dr Limpopo myself:

In fact, I already have.  :)

Actually, with a head change, he might even meet my requirements :)
